Integrating Technology & Sustainability
Ultrasonic Water Metering
We adopt a forward-thinking approach that leverages technology to enhance water conservation, optimise usage, and ensure sustainability. Our implementation of Live Water Metering and Leak Detection Systems epitomises this commitment, offering robust solutions to modern water management challenges.
Our Smart Water Management model is not just about deploying cutting-edge technology; it’s about integrating these technologies into a comprehensive strategy for sustainable water use. By combining Live Water Metering with advanced Leak Detection Systems, we provide a holistic solution that addresses both usage efficiency and loss prevention.
Measure What Matters
Kamstrup’s smart meters use ultrasonic technology to measure flow with no moving parts, ensuring long-lasting performance and accuracy even in harsh water conditions.
What’s Included in LIVSmart:
Ultra Sonic Smart Metering Devices
Ultrasonic water meters use one or more ultrasonic transducer to send ultrasonic sound waves through the fluid to determine the velocity of the water.
Since the cross-sectional area of the meter body is a fixed and known value, when the velocity of water is detected, the volume of water passing through the meter can be calculated with very high accuracy.
Because water density changes with temperature, most ultrasonic water meters also measure the water temperature as a component of the volume calculation.

Pulse Leak Detection
Pulse Leak Detection is a powerful and efficient method for monitoring pipeline integrity. By utilizing controlled pressure waves and advanced sensor technology, PLD can detect and accurately locate leaks, making it an invaluable tool in industries reliant on extensive pipeline networks.
The method’s non-invasive nature and high sensitivity make it a preferred choice for many applications, despite the challenges related to signal processing and sensor deployment.
